Lune Waste Bag Holder - Vegetable tanned Calf Leather

The small things carry the same care as the large ones. The Lune Waste Bag Holder keeps a roll of waste bags close at hand on every walk, held on your leash. It is finished by hand in Italy, in the same vegetable tanned full grain calf leather as the Reeve Collar and the Bond Leash for larger breeds. This is where quality shows most, in the smallest piece of the set made with the same care as the largest.

Every piece is made and stitched by hand. This means the stitching can vary in look from one piece to the next, and even within the same piece. The leather, a natural material, can also vary a little in its look. Both are normal for a natural material and for a piece made by hand. It is part of what makes each piece its own.

Materials

Leather: Vegetable tanned full grain calf leather

The same leather as the Reeve Collar and the Bond Leash for larger breeds, chosen for its firm hand and the way it ages. Vegetable tanned with natural tannins, it develops a rich patina over the years, deepening in tone with use. Our leathers come from tanneries certified to the Leather Working Group Gold standard.

Hardware: Solid Brass

Massive throughout, designed in-house. Naturally hypoallergenic and nickel-free, finished with a protective coating that stands up to the moisture of everyday life, from rain to a companion's drool.

Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth for everyday care. For marks that linger, use a slightly damp cloth with the smallest amount of mild soap, working gently from the outside of the mark inward, then let it dry naturally. Avoid alcohol, harsh cleaners and direct heat. An occasional light conditioner keeps the leather supple and the patina even. For the brass, never use metal polish or anything abrasive; the coating is what protects it.
